As a PhD phytopathologist, he is a scientist by conviction and has led IDENTXX GmbH as managing partner since 2009.
In his role, he is responsible for the financial and technical organisation of the company. At the same time, laboratory work is not neglected.
He obtained his PhD with a cooperative thesis between the University of Hohenheim and the State Viticultural Institute in Freiburg. At the Bavarian State Institute for Agriculture in the field of plant protection, he deepened his passion for the field application of molecular detection systems. At IDENTXX, he is responsible for all phytopathological issues.
After completing his PhD at the University of Hohenheim, his career took him via the Senckenberg Biodiversity and Climate Research Centre in Frankfurt am Main to IDENTXX GmbH.
As a passionate molecular biologist, he is responsible for all matters relating to herbicide resistance.
