Frank Brändle

Dr. Frank Brändle

Since 2009 Frank Brändle is Managing Director of the new founded IDENTXX GmbH. From 2006 to 2008 he was director of PathoScan GbR., funded by Baden-Württemberg, which later became IDENTXX GmbH.

In 2006 he finished his PhD with his thesis "Identifizierung und Charakterisierung von Elicitoren aus Plasmopara halstedii, dem Falschen Mehltau der Sonnenblume".

Sven Keil

Dr. Sven Keil

Since the beginning of 2010 Sven Keil is head of Research and Development at IDENTXX GmbH. Besides others, he developed the system to detect and identify strains of Xanthomonas axonopodis poinsettiicola on Poinsettias and Agrobacterium vitis on grapevine.

In 2007 he finished his PhD with his thesis "Epidemiologische Aspekte der Falschen Mehltauinfektion durch Plasmopara viticola an Vitis" which was a cooperation project between Hohenheim University and the State Institute for Enology and Viticulture Freiburg. Afterwards, from 2007 to 2009, he worked at the Bavarian State Institute for Agriculture in the department of Plant Protection.

Cornelia Köcher

Dr. Cornelia Köcher

Since the end of 2010 Cornelia Köcher is head of Weed Science and Custom Service at IDENTXX GmbH. She coordinates the greenhouse studies and develops herbicide resistance analyses for different herbal pest species.

Her PhD thesis is titled: "Host searching and host selection of Trichogramma cacoeciae" and was enabled due to a cooperation between Freiburg University and State Institute for Enology and Viticultre Freiburg. After the practical part of her thesis in 2009 she worked as a trainee at the State Museum of natural history in Stuttgart.
